Psalm 130:5–6
The psalmist waits for the Lord “more than watchmen wait for the morning.” That kind of waiting isn’t passive — it’s hopeful, alert, ready. Advent teaches us to wait not with anxiety, but with trust. God’s timing is never late, even when our hearts ache for Him to move.
Prayer: God of hope, teach me to wait well. In the stillness, deepen my trust in You. Amen.
